Slipknot drum master Joey Jordison has unveiled that his new band, Scar the Martyr, will drop their debut album this autumn via Roadrunner Records.

The new project saw Jordison, widely regarded as one of metal’s best drummers, take on writing and playing duties for most of the instruments on the disc.

The album was written by Joey together with vocalist Henry Derek, and joining them in the studio for the recording sessions were keyboardist Chris Vrenna (Nine Inch Nails), and lead guitarists, Jed Simon (Strapping Young Lad) and Kris Norris (Darkest Hour).
