Hello again, anyone up for some shock rock this Sunday? Good, because this week features the overlord.

Alice Cooper’s discography features a plethora of hits and albums but none quite like this, “Hey Stoopid” is arguably his greatest achievement musically, even if it didn’t reach the commercial heights of songs like “School’s Out” and “Poison”.

The follow up to 1989’s “Trash”, this album came along in 1991 and changed everything, with a star studded lineup and some truly massive tracks. (more…)

This week we pay himage to the 25th anniversary of Metallica’s “…and Justicefor All”.

The first post-Burton Metallica album has become one of the most recognisable pieces of album art in metal history, with a huge musical range and memorable tracks.

This album was the first to feature Jason Newsted on bass and gained the band their first Grammy for the iconic “One”. (more…)

Another week is upon us and this is the time we admire musicians fit to grace the very halls of Valhalla and this week it’s my favourite MOFO (Musicians of Finnish Origin) Turisas.

An obvious choice for this feature I think you’ll agree but I was wearing my Turisas t-shirt so I thought it was time.

They premiered their new album in full on a Finnish radio station earlier this week and it’s an absolute belter, one of my most anticipated albums this year. (more…)
