Last week’s Vintage Sunday was a lot more recent than our usual batch so we’re taking a giant leap backwards, all the way to 1980 for Ozzy‘s debut solo album.

Attempting to show Sabbath just what they were missing after his departure from the band the album marks Osbourne’s second attempt at a solo career and it was exceptionally successful.

Iconic tracks like Crazy Train and Mr Crowley gave this album a launchpad to greatness. (more…)

It’s Sunday again and that can only mean one thing, it’s time to look back and salute an album of yesteryear.

This is another of my personal favourites and there is no denying it a place among the greatest party albums.

One of the most iconic albums of the 80s and one that immediately springs to mind when one thinks of Kiss. (more…)

It’s time for another installment of our Newday Tuesday feature where we take a look at up and coming or new bands and give them the exposure that they deserve.

This week we’re going to be looking at Fight or Flight, one of the three projects to feature members of Disturbed.

Dan Donegan and Mike Wengren, guitarist and drummer for Disturbed, have taken advantage of the band’s hiatus and launched the side project to capitalise on Donegan’s writing talent. (more…)
